Okay, about me. I was born in 1975, I’m British and I’m female (or at least I was the last time I looked). I write novels. I’m a journalist as well, having written for newspapers such as The Guardian and The Independent and magazines such as Eve. I also publish the email newsletter, Writing Tips which is designed to help budding novelists get their foot in the door.

My first novel, The Ex-Factor, was published in May 2003 and my second, The Make-Up Girl is out now.

Before my writing career took off, I lived in Ibiza working as part of the management team for one of the world’s largest nightclubs.

As well as Ibiza, I have lived in London and Hull (where I went to Uni). I now live in York, with my husband, Matt and my son, Lucas.
